We’ve analysed property activity across the DL7–DL11 postcodes for April 2025. From new listings to sales agreed, here’s a quick snapshot of what’s been happening in the local housing market. Check out the highlights below!

April 2025 Local Market Snapshot

We took a look at how last month’s numbers added up. Between April 1st and 30th, 2025, there were 835 available property listings (excluding new builds) across the DL7, DL8, DL9, DL10, and DL11 postcode areas.

The chart below highlights how New Listings (181), Reduced Listings (72), and Sales Agreed (95) compare to the total number of properties available in the area. Notably, sales agreed account for just over 10% of the market, giving a clear snapshot of buyer activity relative to overall supply.

May’s House Price Index shows a seasonal uplift in asking prices, with the latest Rightmove data reporting a 1.2% increase since April. The national average asking price now stands at £378,304.
